“I am happy to say I grew up in rural NZ.
I enjoyed my education mainly, but Otago University really has cemented my love of my occupation. I graduated in 1987 from the school of dentistry with my Dental degree then went back to do a Clinical Diploma in Periodontal Diseases.
I have played a role in the NZ Dental Association and still run a Graduate program.
I have had many years in the Defence Force and now own my practice.”

“Wellington is the place I called home before heading to Otago University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2022, having studied at both the Dunedin and Auckland dental facilities.
Dentistry is an interesting field that I am constantly learning and growing in. I love to get to know my patients and problem-solving to find personalised treatment options. I always strive to be gentle when providing dental care and make dentistry as understandable as possible.
Outside of the clinic, I can often be found swimming, running, or hiking through New Zealand’s beautiful trails. On a rainy day, strumming tunes on the guitar is my go-to activity.”
